At the start of August, many have shifted their thoughts from leisurely days spent outdoors to early morning alarms and school books. With a new school year on the horizon, we surveyed 1,152 parents of children under 18 to see what they most look forward to and what they dread.

Not surprisingly, the return to a normal schedule is the main highlight for the majority of parents.

The two school-related tasks parents enjoy the least? Waking up the kids and getting the kids out the door on time.
