You may have heard that Disney Stores recently opened in 25 select Target locations.  Through ProdegeMR’s geolocation technology we know when our panel members visit Target, as well as other retailers and restaurants, how long they stay and then, upon exit, we are able to send a notification to their phones asking them to complete a short survey.   

From the geolocation data we’ve collected, we know that Target is one of the top shopping destinations among our proprietary panelists. So in September (prior to the launch), we surveyed our members as they left these specific Targets to see if they were aware of, and excited about, this upcoming collab.

A third of our respondents were aware of this “Shop-in-Shop”  in the works. Once all respondents learned of this new store concept, the majority (70%) indicated they look forward to checking out Disney Stores within their respective Target locations. An additional  10% would also be open to visiting this new Disney Store concept if their child(ren) wanted to check it out. 

This partnership appears to be an exciting development for both retailers, just in time for holiday shopping season!
