Swagbucks, the web’s leading rewards program that’s already awarded its members more than $135 million in gift card rewards, today released the findings from its 2016 Back to School Survey. Swagbucks found members are budgeting big time when it comes to shopping this year on clothes and supplies for the upcoming school season. In a recent survey of over 3,600 members, many parents (39.2%) are prepared to spend between $100 to $250 on back to school clothes, while even more (45.5%) are trying to spend less than $100 on school supplies.

“From shopping for the latest fashions to buying that state-of-the-art calculator, back to school shopping doesn’t come cheap,” said said Sarah Aibel, VP of Marketing at Swagbucks. “Many of our members know the importance of saving for those everyday, yet essential purchases. That’s where rewards sites and apps like Swagbucks come in handy, offering savings and cash-back for those times when budgets are tight.”

Additional key findings also reveal that parents are worried about more than saving up for back to school clothes and supplies. The recent survey found the top 3 concerns among parents when sending their child into the school season were grades, bullying, and peer pressure, followed by the risk of violence, teacher quality, and making friends.
