Create a new variable using combination logic

Step 3

1. Click the variables that you want to use
2. Check the relevant options from each question that will allow you to create the definition that you need
3. Adjust the definitions to either “AND” or “OR”, as per your desired definition
4. Change the category name to be “Selected”
5. Relabel the variable to describe your definition
6. Click “Save”
7. Your variable will appear with “Selected” indicating the respondents who fall into the defined logic
