Enhance Your Data

Create a summary variable (e.g. Top 2 Box)

NOTE: Most commonly used for grid-based survey questions

Step 1

Click the “+” at the bottom left hand side of the screen

Step 2

Click on the "Multiple response" option

Step 3

Click on the variable that you want to use to create a summary variable

Step 4

  1. Ensure correct options are selected
  2. Name the variable as required
  3. Click “Save”
  4. Your new variable will appear in your “My Variables” list
