Non-profit organization Chillum Youth Project (CYP) received a pleasant surprise on Friday, April 12 on the NBC Network: a $5,000 donation from Swagbucks! Launched in 1967, CYP addresses the needs of at-risk children along the Maryland/DC border, offering resources to help these kids succeed in school and stay off the streets. CYP champions innovative tactics, including a mobile classroom bus to provide a creative space for developing new ideas and setting goals for a brighter future.
The donation from Swagbucks, owned by parent company, Prodege, LLC is just one of the many ways that you’ll see we give back as an organization. Prodege has already given back over $600K to our registered members in addition to our partnership with Pledgeling where we donate quarterly to charities of our choice. To watch the heartwarming reaction from CYP founder, Joseph Emmerich, check out the video from “Steve” here.
