Another by-product of social distancing? If you want a haircut, manicure, facial, etc, it’s a DIY affair, which is a bit overwhelming. If Blake Shelton is game for Gwen Stefani to cut his hair on live TV, then maybe we can try it from the privacy of our own homes?
If you’ve tried to do your own grooming or beauty treatments recently, you’re not alone. Our recent research of 1,453 Americans aged 18 to 69 revealed that 70% have done at least one home beauty treatment over the past month.
Men are most apt to have snipped their own hair (40%), while women’s focus has been on doing their nails and/or grooming their eyebrows (41-47%). Three-in-ten females have also tried a DIY skin/facial treatment over the past month.
