Swagbucks: This site (Swagbucks.com) offers cash back or gift cards for online shopping, among other things. Depending on which retailers you frequent, you may find that you get more cash back here than on other sites. For all of your activities, you earn “Swagbucks,” which you can eventually redeem for merchant gift cards (such as Amazon) or cash back from PayPal.
Capucine Byrne of Pelham, N.Y. has had good luck with the site because she gets cash back on Air France, which she frequently uses for travel. “Even if it’s only 1%, out of four plane tickets it starts to count,” she says. “You can set it up on your PC so it automatically pops up. My problem with other sites was remembering to go to their site first. With Swagbucks, a bar automatically opens on top each time I browse a partner website.”
