Tax Day can be a big time of year for shoppers. With Summer right around the corner, Americans are ready to treat themselves to new summer clothes and vacations. Many plan to use their tax refund to help with these purchases.

Though the average refund has decreased this year compared to last year, it is estimated that this year’s average return will still be around a healthy $2,000, according to a number of outlets.

We recently conducted a survey to our engaged respondents to get a better feel on how they handle their taxes. We found that 70% of our respondents are expecting a refund this year.

Of those who have received their refund, 74% haven’t spent it yet, but the majority plan to! Between booking a vacation, going on a shopping spree, or just saving it all together, our members are looking forward to spending their refund on themselves.

In 2018 alone, our sites had a $700M GMV, because of our active audience of over 60M engaged members.

Our popular cashback sites are a great way for you to promote your product to a large audience, helping them spend their tax refund. Not only will our members receive a great new gift for themselves, but also receive cashback rewards making them want to spend again.

Our sites have a variety of placement options to choose from, ensuring your product will stand out in whatever fashion fits best for you.

If you’re interested in promoting your product on any one of our popular consumer sites, reach out to us at b2bmarketing@prodege.com. We look forward to working with you!
